1. What we collect

When you register, we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), and company (optional). When you submit a document for translation, we process the document content solely for the purpose of providing the translation service.

2. How we process your documents

Your documents are processed entirely on our private server. We do not send your documents or their contents to OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, or any third-party AI provider. All AI models (Ollama) run locally on hardware we control exclusively.

3. Data retention

• Original uploaded files: deleted after 7 days
• Translated PDF outputs: deleted after 30 days
• Account data: retained while your account is active
• You can request immediate deletion at any time by contacting us

4. Payment data

We use Stripe for payment processing. We never store your credit card number on our servers. Stripe handles all card data under PCI-DSS compliance. We only store your Stripe Customer ID to manage your subscription.

5. Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in, and a CSRF token cookie for form security. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete all data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email privacy@translaite.com and we will respond within 30 days.
